Diana Paris, Family NP (FNP-BC), Psychiatric Mental Health NP (PMHNP-BC)

MENTAL WELLNESS IS MORE THAN A MEDICATION.
IT’S A PARTNERSHIP.

Getting the right psychiatric care starts with being heard. We listen before we recommend anything, and medication is one tool, not the only one. You're an active participant in your care, with education built into every visit and collaboration with your therapist when it helps.

We treat teens (13+) and adults across Massachusetts, by telehealth or in person.

Science explains the brain. Compassion changes lives.

Every symptom has a story. Anxiety often shows up as trouble sleeping. Depression can look like constant fatigue. Stress has a way of making pain worse than it needs to be.

At Excel Serenity Health, we take the time to connect those dots with you, not just for you. Before any treatment plan comes together, we slow down and listen. We explain what's happening in your brain and why. Education isn't an afterthought here, it's built into every appointment, because understanding your own mind is often the first step toward feeling better in it.

That's the difference between being treated and being truly cared for.

❊ Who we serve

Is This the Right Fit?

Excel Serenity Health might be for you if you:

  • Feel overwhelmed by anxiety or constant worry

  • Are navigating a stressful life transition

  • Have been thinking about medication but want an honest conversation first

  • Want a provider who collaborates with your therapist

  • Believe mental wellness includes healthy habits, not just prescriptions

  • Prefer telehealth, with in-person care as an option

We primarily provide outpatient psychiatric medication management with collaborative care. We're not able to support psychiatric emergencies, court-ordered evaluations, requests solely for controlled medications without appropriate evaluation, or situations that need a higher level of care. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 for immediate support.

❊ About Us

Our Pillars

Young girl lying on a beige sofa with her eyes closed, resting her head on her hand, and wearing a white shirt with rolled-up sleeves, surrounded by an adult and another person. An adult woman is lying next to her, partially visible, wearing a gray shirt and light blue denim shorts, with her hand resting on the girl. Another person, whose face is not visible but who is wearing purple pants and white shoes, is sitting on a small stool holding a tablet.

We Listen First

We start by listening. Every person has a unique story, goals, and challenges. Before discussing treatment options, we take the time to understand the whole picture so care is tailored to your individual needs.

Medication Is One Tool

Understanding your symptoms is just as important as treating them. We believe lasting progress also comes from healthy routines, quality sleep, nutrition, movement, stress management, and meaningful support systems.

Collaboration Creates Better Outcomes

When appropriate, we work alongside your therapist, primary care provider, and other healthcare professionals to ensure your treatment plan supports your overall well-being.

Care That Fits Your Life

Mental health care should fit into your life - not the other way around. Most appointments are conveniently offered through secure telehealth, allowing you to receive care from the comfort of your home or office. When clinically appropriate, in-person visits are also available.

What Can You Expect Working With Us

I never felt judged or rushed. My NP respected my background, listened to what mattered to me, and created a treatment plan that actually fit my life. I finally felt like I had a provider who truly understood me.

— A.R.

As a parent, it's hard to know if you're doing enough when your child is struggling. Diana took the time to explain everything clearly, to us and to our daughter, and never made her feel like a diagnosis instead of a person. We finally have a plan that feels right for our whole family.

— S.L., Teen Parent

What stood out most wasn't just the medication, it was how clearly my provider explained everything. She helped me understand what was happening in my brain instead of making me feel overwhelmed. I left every visit feeling heard, informed, and hopeful.

— J.M.
